It is fast like a shooting star
Behind the beauty of the afternoon

The near future suddenly gets too far

When I close my eyes I know you are around
Throwing words at me, but not making a sound
And within the time when I feel your presence
I would stop the time and dream in all silence

In all other times when I say I love you
You always try to say how you love me too
But when I open my eyes you won't be there
What happened to the heart I've kept so near?

Meanwhile all my dreams fly thorugh the window

My darling once told me I was so crazy
All of my dreams and my words were always the same
My darling also said I was too lazy
And that I should always be the only one to blame

My darling said all bad things about my words
She used hard terms like mediocracy
My darling even said that my poetry
Would never be able to blend with my dumb chords

I will try not to let her down
My darling does not like when I am writing
She can see all the world with her endless frown
But who said you can be my darling?
