It is fast like a shooting star
Behind the beauty of the afternoon
And when it flies back from the moon
The near future suddenly gets too far

But what is going on with me?
The world is going backwards and I failed to see
And what is going on with you?
Now you seem to be out of your place too

There are two signs flying through the air
Nobodysaid that your life is to be fair
Then again I shot this day too low

My darling once told me I was so crazy
All of my dreams and my words were always the same
My darling also said I was too lazy
And that I should always be the only one to blame

My darling said all bad things about my words
She used hard terms like mediocracy
My darling even said that my poetry
Would never be able to blend with my dumb chords

I will try not to let her down
My darling does not like when I am writing
She can see all the world with her endless frown
But who said you can be my darling?

So much chances to enjoy her
So many days to forever
And she is never around

So many things to desire
So many dreams to inspire
And I still don't hear one sound

Her dreams are no longer in her blue eyes
In the air, grief is so fresh
She turned her heart to the sky
But only her pain she could flash

Her life was only meant to get her to sing
But it's late for her sorrow
Her heart will not meet any other feeling

Of the Rainbow Road in the sky?
It is said that sometimes you can send
Your wishes all that very high

If you ask from deep inside your heart
For your best wish to be true
Then you may know how I wished for you

Just look around

I will dream and unload
My wishes to Rainbow Road

And in the sky
You can hear the hopeful cry

I have lost some of my words
I have lost some of my dreams too
I have lost more than I can afford
But I will never lose the love I have for you

This feeling makes me go on
Contemplating the beauty of the moon
And then I will make another perfect rhyme
While I dream along with your name

Because I dream with you

As all my dreams move along
I feel that some of them still are wrong
Even if my inspiration is not done

I wrote a postcard from far away
I wrote all of this today
This is my way to say you charm me
Even in dreams, you see?

When this postcard reaches your sweet eyes
Let all those words fill the nightly sky

These are my words
All of those words
Belong to you now

If there is a smile that charms my dreams
It comes only from your lips
Since I can't say what I really mean
I will use my fingertips

My words may or may not ever become true
The one who will decide is you

But they are yours
All to be yours
