These days are long, I walk alone
I wonder if I'm doing wrong
I've been myself, my fears are gone
But you still won't play me along

Within your eyes I still can't see
The love you claim to have for me
Somehow I know I am your one
So tell me why I walk alone

And I wish you
Inside my dreams, so close
For I love you
So I now give you this rose

Those days were long, I'm still alone
But I take one step at a time
Don't ask me why, don't break my rhyme
Our story is yet to be done

Open your eyes and look at me
Tell me what do you fear to see
One more step and our fear is gone
Never again we walk alone
